latest news Mumbai: state issued new restrictions on saturday in light of the rising number of cases of covid - 19, as maharashtra added 41,434 fresh casses. People are disallowed from stepping out between 11pm and 5am unless it is essential services, medical emergencies, travel to and from airports, bus and railway stations with a valid ticket. 

        The order also disallowed movement of five or more people between 5am and 11pm a reference to prevent crowding in public places. Citizens will be allowed to travel by public transport provided they are fully vaccinated, the order said. Resturants, hotels and theatres would be allowed to remain open till 10 pm, at 50% capacity "we want the business of people to continue, especially daily wage earners. We have taken a middle part [in restrictions] The focus is on reducing crowed ing", said state health minister rajesh tope.

RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE TO CURB THIRD WAVE 

What's Not Allowed :

1. No movement of people between 11 pm and 5 am, except for essential work.
2. No movement of groups of five people or more between 5am and 11pm.
3. No visitors to goverment offices.
4. Sporting activities to be deferred, except for national and international level competitions alredy scheduled.
5. No domestic or city level sporting event to be organized. 

What's Shut :

1. Schools and collages till february 15, except Class 10 and class 12
2. Swimming pools
3. Gymnasiums
4. Wellness centres
5. Beauty salons
6. Entertainment parks
7. Zoos
8. Museums
9. Forts
10. Local tourist spot

What's Allowed :

1. Use of public transport for fully vaccinated people
2. Shopping malls, market complexes will operate at 50% capacity for fully vaccinated people 
3. Restaurants and eateries to operate at 50% capacity till 10 pm for fully vaccinated people
4. Cinema halls, theatres, and auditoriums to run at 50% capacity for fully vaccinated people. To shut at 10Pm
5. Weddings with maximum 50 guests
6. Funeral an last rites with maximum 20 people 
7. Social, culture, religious and political gathering wit maximum 50 people
8. Domestic travel with double vaccination or negative RT- PCR test reports valid from up to 72 hourse of entering the state    

20 Million teenagers in 15 - 18 Age group are vaccinated alredy

New delhi : over 20 million teenagers aged 15- 18 years have been given the first dose of a covid - 19 vaccine since january 3, union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on saturday.

       "Shielding young india against Covid - 19. Over 2 crore children between the age group of 15-18 vaccinated against covid- 19 since 3rd january. Congratulations to all my young friends who got vaccinated,"Mandaviya Tweeted

        His tweet was quoted by prime minister Narendra Modi, who congratulated eligible children of the age cohort and urged people to get vaccinated.
